    What the studies say

    Trials in stressed adults show 20-30% reductions in fatigue scores over 8 weeks, alongside cortisol reductions of 15-25%. Direct evidence in non-stress-related fatigue (e.g. ME/CFS) is lacking.

    Safety

    Caveats

    Rule out iron deficiency, B12 deficiency, hypothyroidism and sleep apnea before attributing fatigue to stress.

    Less likely to help if

    People with ME/CFS, iron deficiency, hypothyroidism or untreated sleep disorders, and anyone whose fatigue is not stress-driven.
