    Evidence is insufficient. The mechanistic chain is real but untested in people: PARP1 and PARP2 consume NAD+ when repairing DNA strand breaks, sirtuins including SIRT1 and SIRT6 are NAD+-dependent and participate in the DNA damage response, and NAD+ decline with age has been proposed to limit repair capacity. Mouse studies show NMN or NR administration improves markers of DNA repair and reduces DNA damage accumulation. No human trial has measured DNA repair capacity, comet assay outcomes, gamma-H2AX foci or mutation burden following NMN supplementation - the human trials measured blood NAD+, insulin sensitivity, aerobic capacity and walking speed over 6-12 weeks. The claim is therefore entirely preclinical.
