    Evidence is insufficient. Fisetin induces autophagy and has been reported to reduce aggregation of misfolded proteins - amyloid-beta, tau and alpha-synuclein - in cell culture and animal models, and to modulate heat shock response pathways. Every one of those findings is preclinical. No human study has measured protein aggregation, chaperone activity or any proteostasis marker after fisetin, and there is no accepted clinical assay for doing so. This is a mechanistic hypothesis presented as an outcome.
