- Evidence is insufficient. A few trials have included psychomotor speed measures within broader cognitive batteries. Darbinyan reported improved performance on a fatigue index incorporating speed-based tasks in night-duty physicians at 170 mg/day, and Shevtsov reported improved mental work capacity in cadets. Neither used reaction time as a primary endpoint, and effects were seen under fatigue rather than in rested participants. Trials in non-fatigued adults have not shown improvements in reaction time, and no study has examined driving, sport-specific reaction or occupational safety outcomes.
