Leptin sensitivity itself is the more relevant concept, since obesity is characterised by high leptin with resistance to its signal rather than deficiency, but leptin sensitivity cannot be measured directly in people - there is no clinical assay. Animal work suggests omega-3 may reduce hypothalamic inflammation implicated in leptin resistance, which has not been demonstrated in humans.
