Caveats
Insufficient evidence. Self-treating suspected SIBO delays diagnosis of coeliac disease, pancreatic insufficiency, IBD and motility disorders. Alpha-galactosidase releases sugars, which is relevant in diabetes; it is contraindicated in galactosaemia.
