Caveats
Samples were small and industry sponsorship common, and most trials combined oral with topical use so oral-only effects are smaller. Ceiling of 12 mg/day. Antiplatelet and blood-pressure-lowering effects - caution with anticoagulants and antihypertensives. Harmless skin tinting at high doses. Avoid with algae allergy. Not established as safe in pregnancy or breastfeeding.
