    The pharmacology is real but the framing is wrong. Vitamin E inhibits protein kinase C in platelets, reduces thromboxane A2 generation and antagonises vitamin K-dependent clotting factor activation, producing measurable reductions in platelet aggregation at supplemental doses. This is why it is listed as a bleeding risk in surgical and anticoagulation guidance rather than as an antiplatelet therapy. It has never been shown to reduce thrombotic events - HOPE found no cardiovascular benefit and more heart failure - and the ATBC trial found an increase in haemorrhagic stroke among alpha-tocopherol recipients.
