    Caveats

    The supporting trials had fewer than 20 participants each and showed no consistent effect on repeated-effort or endurance performance - this is a peak-force finding, not a general ergogenic one. Cap at 1200 mg/day. Headache is the usual limit. Caution in cardiovascular disease given the unconfirmed observational stroke signal. Avoid in pregnancy. Check current banned-substance status if you compete under a testing body.

    Less likely to help if

    Untrained lifters, endurance athletes, and anyone whose limiter is recovery or technique rather than neural drive.
