    Randomised placebo-controlled trial of carnosine and cognitive outcomes in prediabetes and type 2 diabetes.

    Key Findings

    Fourteen weeks of carnosine supplementation did not improve any cognitive domain compared with placebo in adults with prediabetes or well-controlled type 2 diabetes.

    Conclusions

    This null trial does not support carnosine for cognitive benefit in dysglycemia.
