    Key Findings

    NMN improved gait speed (SMD 0.34, 95% CI 0.03-0.66, p=0.033) and ALT (SMD -0.29, 95% CI -0.55 to -0.03, p=0.028); lower doses showed the most prominent effects.

    Conclusions

    NMN may modestly improve some muscle and liver function markers in middle-aged and elderly adults, but effects are small and inconsistent across outcomes.

    Limitations

    Few trials, small samples, short durations, and inconsistency with other meta-analyses reporting null muscle effects.
