Key Findings
Cruciferous vegetable intake (broccoli, Brussels sprout, cabbage, cauliflower, radish, watercress) was generally associated with induction of CYP1A2 activity in vivo, with variability across phase I and phase II endpoints.
Conclusions
Cruciferous-enriched diets can measurably induce phase I CYP1A2 activity, but the clinical significance for diet-drug interactions remains unclear.
