    Three and Six Grams Supplementation of D-Aspartic Acid in Resistance Trained Men

    Methodology

    Fourteen-day randomized placebo-controlled trial comparing 3 g/day and 6 g/day D-aspartic acid in 24 resistance-trained men.

    Key Findings

    Total testosterone was unchanged with 3 g/day and significantly decreased with 6 g/day; free testosterone fell in the 6 g group.

    Conclusions

    D-aspartic acid did not raise testosterone and higher doses may lower it in resistance-trained men.
