    Methodology

    Controlled endocrine study of pyridoxine administration on basal and stimulated prolactin secretion in humans.

    Key Findings

    Pyridoxine acutely suppressed prolactin release through dopaminergic stimulation, but the effect was short-lived and did not normalise pathological hyperprolactinaemia.

    Conclusions

    Vitamin B6 exerts only transient dopaminergic prolactin suppression.
