    Insufficient evidence. Never consume raw berries, leaves, bark or unripe fruit. Syrups carry a sugar load relevant in diabetes. Avoid in pregnancy and breastfeeding without medical advice. Theoretical caution in autoimmune disease and with immunosuppressants.
