    Abstract

Systematic review of clinical trials of bromelain for osteoarthritis symptoms.

    Key Findings

    Conclusions

Bromelain may help milder osteoarthritis symptoms; the evidence base remains small and mixed.

    Limitations

Few trials, heterogeneous doses and enzyme activities, no pooled effect estimate.
