    Zeraatkar D, Ling M, Kirsh S, Jassal T

    Published in BMJ

    Methodology

Living systematic review of 24 randomised trials (3695 adults with long covid) comparing drug, rehabilitation, behavioural, dietary and device interventions with placebo, sham or usual care, with GRADE certainty rating

    Key Findings

Moderate certainty evidence supported online cognitive behavioural therapy for fatigue, while the four dietary/supplement trials (n=794) did not provide convincing evidence of benefit.

    Conclusions

Behavioural and rehabilitation approaches currently outperform supplement-based strategies for post-viral recovery.

    Limitations

Few trials per intervention, short follow-up, heterogeneous outcome measures.

    Outcomes Measured

24 trials with 3695 patients were eligible.
