Published in Nutr Health, pp. 2601060261491431

    Methodology

    Retrospective cohort of 154 women with PCOS having IVF: CoQ10 100 mg/day for four weeks beforehand (n = 75) versus none (n = 79).

    Key Findings

More MII oocytes; live birth 30.7% vs 6.3% (OR 6.55, 95% CI 2.34-18.34), persisting after adjustment for age and BMI.

    Conclusions

Associated with better outcomes; randomized confirmation required.

    Limitations

Retrospective and non-randomized; selection bias and confounding by indication cannot be excluded; groups differed in weight.
