Pooled effects on negative symptoms were small and inconsistent, with the largest multicentre trial (CONSIST) finding no benefit of adjunctive glycine.
Conclusions
Adjunctive glycine has not shown reliable benefit for schizophrenia symptoms in adequately powered trials.
