    Published in Gynecologic Oncology

    Methodology

Randomised placebo-controlled pilot trial of oral DIM (2 mg/kg/day) for 12 weeks in 64 women with biopsy-proven CIN 2 or 3.

    Key Findings

Roughly half of participants improved on cytology, colposcopy or histology, but improvement rates did not differ significantly between DIM and placebo; treatment was well tolerated.

    Conclusions

DIM was safe but showed no clear advantage over placebo for cervical dysplasia in this pilot.

    Limitations

Underpowered pilot; high placebo regression rate; short follow-up.
