    The efficacy of topical royal jelly on healing of diabetic foot ulcers: a double-blind placebo-controlled clinical trial

    Double-blind placebo-controlled trial randomizing 64 diabetic foot ulcers in 25 patients to 5% sterile topical royal jelly or placebo alongside standard offloading, infection control and debridement, followed for three months or until healing

    Topical royal jelly did not produce a clear advantage over placebo for diabetic foot ulcer healing.

    Conclusions

    Topical use is unsupported and is unrelated to oral supplement claims.
