Randomized double-blind placebo-controlled trial over 60 clomiphene ovulation-induction cycles in 34 women with PCOS-related oligo/anovulation; 3 x 600 mg/day omega-3 versus placebo.

Clinical pregnancy occurred in 8/30 (26.7%) omega-3 cycles versus 4/30 (13.3%) placebo cycles, with the largest difference among overweight/obese women.
Conclusions
Omega-3 during ovulation induction may raise clinical pregnancy rates in PCOS, but the trial is small and underpowered.
