Methodology

Key Findings
In 155 healthy adults reporting poor sleep, 4 weeks of magnesium bisglycinate improved subjective sleep quality (PSQI) and reduced sleep-onset latency versus placebo, with improvements also seen in daytime tiredness; objective actigraphy differences were smaller and less consistent.

Magnesium bisglycinate modestly improved self-reported sleep quality and onset latency in poor sleepers over 4 weeks, an encouraging but short and industry-supported result.
