    Methodology

    Four-week double-blind placebo-controlled RCT of a multi-ingredient supplement containing L-arginine, ginseng, ginkgo and damiana in 108 women with low sexual desire.

    Key Findings

    Self-reported sexual desire and satisfaction improved significantly more with the supplement than placebo; no significant change in hormone levels and no serious adverse events.

    Conclusions

    A damiana-containing multi-ingredient formula improved self-reported female sexual function, but the contribution of damiana alone cannot be isolated.
