Systematic review and random-effects meta-analysis of five eligible randomized clinical trials of royal jelly ingestion versus placebo on glycemic markers, searching Scopus, PubMed, Cochrane, ProQuest, SID and Magiran
Key Findings
Pooled analysis found no significant improvement in glycemic markers with royal jelly compared with placebo.
Conclusions
Royal jelly should not be recommended for blood-sugar control.
