Methodology
Single-day pilot study in 17 volunteers measuring urinary frequency and excretion ratio after three doses of an ethanolic Taraxacum officinale leaf extract.

Urinary frequency and excretion ratio increased significantly in the 5 hours after the first and second doses; the effect was not sustained after the third dose.
Conclusions
Dandelion leaf extract showed an acute diuretic effect, supporting traditional use, but the finding is preliminary.
