    Methodology

    Prospective observational study of 174 patients with chronic COVID syndrome: 116 received coenzyme Q10 plus alpha lipoic acid and 58 received no treatment, with change in Fatigue Severity Scale as the primary outcome

    Key Findings

    A complete Fatigue Severity Scale response was reached in 62 (53.5%) treated patients versus 2 (3.5%) untreated controls.

    Conclusions

    Mitochondrial nutrients may help post-viral fatigue, but the non-randomised design means the effect size is likely inflated.

    Observational, unblinded, no placebo control, single product studied.
