Methodology
Genotype-targeted randomized, double-blind, placebo-controlled trial of riboflavin supplementation for 16 weeks in hypertensive patients stratified by MTHFR C677T genotype, with blood pressure as the primary outcome.

In treated hypertensive adults homozygous for the MTHFR 677TT variant, riboflavin 1.6 mg/day lowered systolic blood pressure by roughly 6-9 mmHg versus placebo, with no effect in CC or CT genotypes.
