Methodology
Case-control study comparing serum 25(OH)D concentrations between patients with rosacea and age- and sex-matched healthy controls.
Key Findings
Serum 25-hydroxyvitamin D concentrations were significantly higher in patients with rosacea than in healthy controls, leading the authors to suggest increased vitamin D may contribute to rosacea pathogenesis rather than being deficient.

Limitations
Cross-sectional case-control design cannot establish causation; modest sample (n=88), no control for sun exposure, season or supplement use, and results conflict with other rosacea vitamin D studies.
